Notes: Near Fine, 16 1/2" x 13 1/4." Circa 1957-1958. Black leather-covered boards with yellow lettering on front. No lettering on spine. Pages bound by metal fasteners. Covers have light rubbing and scuffing and slight wear to extremities, else clean and intact, binding tight. Pages have light age toning, else pristine and intact. Replete with figures, diagrams, illustrations, maps (some of which are folding maps) in black-and-white and color. Part I: 70 pp., including illustrations and Bibliography. Part II: 149 pp., including illustrations and Bibliography. A beautiful atlas featuring the polar regions of Earth. Divided into two parts. Part I covers the Antarctic. Part II covers the Arctic.
