Notes: Near Fine, 4to, 11 3/4" x 9." Bilingual text in Japanese and English. Beige paper wrappers with lightly embossed decorations on front and back. Color illustration on front panel. White and yellow lettering on black, green, red, and beige spine. Covers have light rubbing and slight wear to edges and tips, else clean and intact, binding tight. Pages have light wear along bottom edge of text block, else pristine and intact. Replete with illustrations in black-and-white and color. 355 pp., including illustrations and Bibliography. Published on the occasion of an exhibition that was held at the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto from August 30-October 13, 2003, the Sakura City Museum of Art from November 8-December 21, 2003, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art from January 29-April 25,2004, and the Birmingham Museum of Art, Alabama from May 23-August 1, 2004.
