The series comprises a semi-fictionalized account of the years in which Miller fell in love with his second wife, June, and faced hardships in becoming a writer. All three of _The Rosy Crucifixion_ books, among other books by Miller, were initially banned in the United States for their explicit depictions of sexual subjects, but a 1964 U.S. Supreme Court decision reversed the ban, stating that Miller's books were works of literature, not pornography. Translated into French from English by Roger Giroux. "'Le chemin de la vie' collection dirigee par Maurice Nadeau" printed on front cover and title page. Heavy and oversized items may require additional shipping.
