Covers have slightly bumped tips, light rubbing, a few small marks, and a surface split along front outer joint measuring about 1 1/2" from tail of spine, else pristine and intact, binding tight. Pages pristine and intact. Replete with color illustrations. 495 pp., including illustrations and Selected Bibliography. Published on the occasion of an exhibition that was held from October 12, 2012-February 17, 2013 at Musee d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris. The show featured wartime art in France and other countries during World War II. Among the many artists represented in the exhibition were Constantin Brancusi, Georges Braque, Robert and Sonia Delaunay, Max Ernst, Julio Gonzalez, France Hamlin, Pablo Picasso, and Charlotte Salomon. The catalog features a list of over 200 alphabetical entries by more than 150 authors about different artists, subjects, and themes.
