Good folio rebound from the original softcover with blue buckram backing, black paper and red piping over boards. Brown leather label affixed to spine. Hinges reinforced with blue cloth tape. Wear and bumping to tips, head and foot, considerable shelfwear and some soiling to boards. Hole to front blank page measuring 1/4", closed tear to blank page at back, measuring 2 1/2".  Clean interior, sturdy binding. Collated, all 278 plates and pages present, an odd method of organizing the plates by the publisher, meaning not in numerical order. A print Catalogue Raisonné of Dutch Artist Pieter Bruguel the Elder (1528-1569), text in French, large, detailed reproductions of the artist's engravings and etchings in black-and-white. An overall very nice copy; an essential resource for any Renaissance library.
