Notes: A Very Good book in a Very Good dust jacket, First Edition, one of 3000 copies, 4to, 12 1/4" x 12 3/4." Blue cloth-covered boards in a dark teal paper dust jacket. Gilt lettering on front cover and book spine. White lettering on front panel and dust jacket spine. Covers have slight fading along edges and slight fraying to tips, else clean and intact. Dust jacket has fading (original dark teal lightened to a turquoise or light teal) and offsetting on front and back panels and spine, else pristine and intact, not price-clipped. Dust jacket protected in a paper-backed mylar sleeve. Pages pristine and intact. Principally black-and-white photographs, 52 in total, with very brief captions. A beautiful catalog of photos by Morley Baer (1916-1995), an American photographer and educator. Baer is perhaps best-known for his black-and-white photos of California subjects. Contained herein are numerous photos of California landscapes and seascapes as well as subjects in Spain and New Mexico. Includes brief text by Morley Baer and an essay in back by Jim Jordan.
