Isidore Isou (29 January 1925 – 28 July 2007) was born Isidor Goldstein of French Jew parents in Romania, and became influential in Dadaist and Surrealist art circles, becoming in the process, according to a Wikipedia entry about him, a "poet, dramaturge, novelist, film director, [and] economist." He is credited with the founding of "Lettrism" and greatly supported and provided intellectual cover the student revolts of 1968. Frontis matter + 199 [1] pp.
