Pages 2-209 Greek language text is on left and Latin is on the right. Page 211 is a section title page titled, "Abrah. Berkeley ad Ant. Liberalism Emendationes et Notae. 213-276 is the Emendationes. Antonini Liberalis (fl. 100-300 AD) was a Greek writer and grammarian who wrote a collection of short Greek mythical narratives pertaining to metamorphosis, most frequently people transformed into birds after having angered the gods. He was not known as a polished or nuanced writer; his work is most notable for including explanations of local Hellenistic legends, though many are likely totally invented by Liberalis himself. Metamorphoses is his only surviving work. Rare in this readable, tightly bound condition.
