Rife with full-color images separated into sections by bright red pages. Mona Hatoum is a British-Palestinian multimedia and installation artist who explores the politics of space. This shows featured 30 works, occupying two floors of the historic building, formerly the home of the Querini Stampalia family. Hatoum created several "interventions," her work interacting and even confronting the museum's collection. 167 pp. Acquired from the private library of photorealist, Robert Bechtle and art historian, Whitney Chadwick. A scarce title in such excellent shape.
