Notes: Very Good, 8vo, 11 3/4" x 8 1/4." Green paper wrappers with color illustrations on front and back. White spine with black lettering. Covers clean and intact overall except for slightly bumped tips, light rubbing, and wrinkling at the spine. Binding tight. Pages pristine and intact. Profusely illustrated in black-and-white and color. Illustrations are of the artists' work. Former owner's inscription in black pen in margin of half-title: "To James Howard, Poet, whom Peter assaileth. July 1969." 60 pp., including illustrations. Catalog accompanying an exhibition of works by the noted Expressionist artists, Edvard Munch (1863-1944) and Emil Nolde (1867-1956). The show ran from July-August 1969 at the Marlborough Fine Art Limited in London.
