Notes: Very Good 8vo, 8 1/2" x 10" staplebound exhibition catalog, matte light and dark blue pictorial wraps featuring a stylized graphic of the Farallon Islands to front cover with lettering in the same hues on front, sunning along spine, publisher's flaw showing small oblong spot of white at bottom fore edge of front cover, 1/4" pen mark to front cover upper left corner, some rubbing and minor shelf wear to covers, else internally clean, tightly bound, staples showing no oxidization, and unmarked throughout. 38 pp. replete with full-color and black-and-white images of artwork by artists Jack Stuppin, Jerrold Ballaine, Tony King and William Wheeler. Includes a dedication by Jack Stuppin, Introduction by Evelyn E. Handler, Essays by Philip E. Linhares, Dr. Peter Selz, and Claire Peaslee, the 1954 Robinson Jeffers poem 'The Beauty of Things', artists' Chronologies, sections For More Information and Acknowledgements. This catalog was published in conjunction with the exhibition at the San Francisco Academy of Sciences in 1997.
