Notes: Good, First Edition, 7" x 4 1/4." Red and white paper wrappers with an illustration on front and back. Black lettering to spine. Covers have slightly bumped tips and rubbing, binding tight, glue along front interior hinge separated coating on endpaper, but binding is tight. Printed on double leaves. Slight wear to front inner hinge and one small nick each (measuring about 1/8" x 3/8") to the bottom and fore-edge of the text block, else pages clean and intact, text and images unaffected. Unpaginated, 60 pp., including black-and-white printed photographs and illustrations. Catalog accompanying an exhibition of Claes Oldenburg's work at the John Berggruen Gallery in San Francisco from February-March 1972. Claes Oldenburg (b. 1929) is a Swedish-American artist best-known for his realistic yet oversize sculptures of everyday objects. He is often associated with the Pop Art movement. Catalog presents Oldenburg's works by category and chronologically within each category. The categories are "Prints," "Books and Film," "Objects and Constructions," and "Posters."
