Unpaginated [46] pp. Replete with full-color and black-and-white images of the artworks of Joyce Schmidt. Includes Acknowledgements, Introduction by Meira Perry-Lehmann, Essays by curator Eva Sznajderman and Larry Abramson, brief Biographical Chronology, Selected Works, a Catalogue of Works including a list of 77 pieces, and a poem by Ida Myers. This catalog was published in conjunction with an exhibition held at The Israel Museum in Jerusalem during Winter, 1996, on the fifth year anniversary of the artist's untimely death. From Meira Perry-Lehmann's essay: "... her art is kind of a dialogue with her materials. Sand, stone, vegetation, kitbag (Thymelaea hirsute), paper - all were components she tried and became familiar with. In time, they became her goal, the art work itself - taken to the limits."
