Covers clean and intact except for slight wear to tips, edges, and head and tail of spine and a tiny closed tear at top edge on front. Binding tight. Pages pristine and intact. Replete with color illustrations. 79 pp., including illustrations. A beautiful catalog that accompanied an exhibition at the Grolier Club in New York in 2014. The exhibition featured pop-up books and art by the esteemed Czech artist and architect, Vojtech Kubasta (1914-1992). Included is an introduction by Ellen G. K. Rubin, whose collection was featured in the show, a concise biography about Kubasta; an exhibition checklist; and indices of the exhibited work by title and category.
