This catalog is predominantly composed of illustrations of prints made by Serra during his three-year artist residency at Gemini G.E.L. (Graphic Editions Limited) in Los Angeles, California. Text is limited to the introduction, copyright information, and captions accompanying each print. Gemini G.E.L. is an artists' workshop and publisher of limited-edition prints and sculptures. It was founded in 1865 by printer Kenneth E. Tyler. Serra was one of many noted artists to collaborate with Gemini to make limited-edition prints.
