Published in conjunction with the exhibition of Robert Motherwell's recent paintings and collages at the Sidney Janis Gallery in New York from April 10 to May 6, 1961. Exhibit catalog on the work of American artist, known for being a pioneering abstract expressionist painter, Robert Motherwell, including a few works from his series, Elegies to the Spanish Republic. Very scarce in the trade.
