A beautiful catalog published on the occasion of an exhibition of the same name at the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills. Sam Francis (1923-1994) was an American painter and printmaker. He was inspired by many contemporary Abstract Expressionists at the time and went on to have a successful career in the arts both in the United States and abroad. This catalog is composed almost entirely of plates showing his signature "drip" paintings awash in bright colors. Essay by Pierre Schneider.
