Portfolio of ten original 7" x 9" black-and-white prints each signed in pencil and  individually mounted to mat boards in custom gatefold Buckram portfolio with Schuberth Bookbindery S.F. stamp inside top flap. Title in black to front panel. Box dimensions 18 1/2" x 14". Number 4 from a stated edition of 45, signed by the photographer on bi-fold front matter which lists the 10 images along with a short note describing the origin of the project. A beautiful collection of atmospheric images of the Sacramento Delta taken over a  period of 3 1/2 years beginning in 1977. An important look at a historic agricultural region of California's central valley. Presumably a selection from the body of work published in hardcover under the same title by Presidio Press in Novato in 1982. Rare in the trade.
