Jack Hirschman (1933-2021) was a prolific radical poet, translator, and anti-war activist based in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco. Associated with the beat movement of the early 60s, Hirshman translated the works of contemporary and ancient poets in a multitude of languages. A handsome and scarce volume by a force in the Bay Area art scene.
