Aged toning and sunning throughout. 24 pp. replete with black-and white images of the artist's work, includes acknowledgments by Suzane Foley, checklist of exhibition pieces, and bibliography. Made to accompany an exhibition held at the San Francisco Museum of Art, Nov. 2-Dec. 30, 1973, with text by Curator Suzanne Foley. Fred Martin was an American artist, writer and arts administrator and educator who was active in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Known for being a driving force of the Bay Area art scene, this collection of Martin’s work showcases his work as the diary of the artist, revealing his daily experiences and confrontations mixed with fantasy and daydreaming into a reality of their own.
