Very Good blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on front and spine. Covers pristine and intact, binding tight, sharp tips. Very Good light beige paper dust jacket with black lettering to spine. Dust jacket has light to moderate age toning, a small 1/2" x 1/2" chip in upper-right corner on front, and a few small closed tears along edges, else clean and intact, protected in a paper-backed Mylar sleeve. Pages have a few small spots limited to top edge of text block, else pristine and intact. One color folding map laid in a back pocket on back pastedown. The famous travel narrative of Pedro Alonso O'Crouley (1740-1817) when he traveled to New Spain which included parts of present-day Mexico, Texas, and California.
