Includes laid-in letter of introduction by Andrew Hoyem explaining this publication was produced as a keepsake for subscribers and friends, limited to 500 copies. This book is an essay Hoyem wrote which was inspired by the Wisdom of Solomon, one of the Apocryphal books that fall between the Old and New Testaments, encountered by Hoyem during his research in producing the folio Bible for the Arion Press. This speech was delivered to the Club on March 13, 2000. Acquired from the private library of Robert Bechtle and Whitney Chadwick.
