Notes: Very Good 8 1/2" x 11" staplebound art exhibition catalog in stiff matte black paper wraps with the name Vollotton blind stamped to the cover. Very minor sunning to spine, two superficial scratches to the cover, else sharp tips, tight binding,clean and unmarked throughout. Unpaginated, replete with 14 black-and-white plates of Félix Vallotton's wood cuts, drawings, and paintings plus one self-portrait drawing at frontis, a Foreword by art historian Maurice Bloch, a Preface by Maxime Vallotton, an essay by Ashley St.James, and a Catalogue of the exhibition listing 85 works. This catalog was published in conjunction with an exhibitn of Vallotton's drawings, paintings and woodcuts held October 24 to November 19, 1972 organized by the Smithsonian Insititution.
