Notes: Very Good, 12mo or 16mo, 7" x 4 1/2." A two-volume set. Brown cloth-covered boards backed with brown leather. Gilt lettering to spine. Boards have slightly bumped tips and minuscule rubbing, else pristine and intact, binding tight. Leather spine clean and intact overall but has some wear to head and tail and rubbing that has caused the leather to take on more of a suede texture. Former owners' bookplate on front pastedown of both volumes: "Helen Conner and Julius Arthur Brown." Pages clean and intact except for age toning and occasional foxing. Volume One: 538 pp. Volume Two: 568 pp. The classic comic novel by English author and playwright, Henry Fielding (1707-1754).
