Covers have some rubbing, a vertical crease on inside of back cover (boards are bowed as if pressure were applied from the back), and a few bumps at the edges and tips, else clean and intact, binding tight. Unpaginated, c. 50 pp. Sunara Begum (b. 1984) is an English artist of Bangladeshi descent who has worked in a variety of disciplines including the visual arts, performance art, photography, and film. _The Legend of Ara_ (or, _World of Ara_) is an interdisciplinary artwork that used performance art, photography, and film. The artwork centers upon the titular Ara, a fictional character of Begum's creation who she describes as "a composite of innocence, rebellion and trauma." Beautifully composed photos constitute most of this catalog while accompanying text tells Ara's story.
