Notes: Near Fine first edition, square 4to 10" x 10" silver gatefold wraps with small graphic and black titling, virtually unread, full-color, full-bleed images, Good black printed box, some denting, creasing and minor wear, by still functional, belly band broken and fixed with tape. 114 pp. (unpaginated). Includes vinyl record at rear also titled "The North is Protected" in protective plastic and black paper sleeve. Contributors include Leif Elggren, Tommi Gronlund, Carl Michael von Hausswolff, Petteri Nisunen and Anders Tomren. "The North is Protected" refers to Scandinavian 1965 work by Christer Von Rosen, a poem/statement on the back is a comment on Scandinavian removed stance on geopolitics and the implicit paradoxes of that safety. A scarce item in excellent condition.
