Includes a reprinted article from 1981 by California historian Kevin Starr defending the value of Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence's parody of the Catholic church. Also includes a tribute to Sister Luscious Lashes, Norman Schrader, who passed in May 1993. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are central to the San Francisco drag queen and trans culture, providing community support and performing dazzling street theater in defense of LGBTQ+ rights.
