Minor soiling and wear to exterior, tears and chip to one page's edges, no larger than 1", some interior soiling and foxing, and light toning. Inscriptions in pen and pencil to the front endpaper. Unpaginated. Replete with illustrated and illuminated borders to accompany the text throughout the book, showcasing the peacock and all of its guests among botanical scenes.
