English, Very Good, SC, 11" x 8 3/4", 37 pp.

White pictorial staple bound art exhibit catalog, featuring Louise Bourgeois' 1948 Untitled artwork to front, black lettering to front, minor sunning and shelfwear to front and back, slightly uneven binding, otherwise, sharp tips, tightly bound, and unmarked throughout. 37 pp., replete with black-and white images, Acknowledgements and essay by exhibition curator, Lenore Malen, and 13 small sections, one for each artist. Published in conjunction with the exhibition "The Politics of Gender" at The QCC Art Gallery at Queensborough Community College of the City University of New York from March 6 to March 31, 1988. From the essay: "This exhibition draws together the work of thirteen artists who have certain interests in common. All of them are at least familiar with the writings of the French structural linguists and psychoanalysts, who in part have demystified cultural attitudes about both femininity and masculinity." Acquired from the private library of photorealist, Robert Bechtle and art historian, Whitney Chadwick.
