Notes: Near Fine 8" x 8" staple bound art exhibition catalog in stiff black pictorial wraps featuring Toshiko Takaezu's 1985 stoneware piece 'Green Rain' on the front cover, some bends to spine causing light creases, else perfectly clean, bright, tightly bound, staples showing no oxidization, and unmarked throughout. 24 pp.replete with full-color images of Toshiko Takaezu's porcelain and stoneware pieces. Includes Foreword and Acknowledgements by George R. Ellis and Merrill C. Rueppel, the Directors of Honolulu Academy of Arts and The Contemporary Museum, respectively. Also includes a list of Lenders to the Exhibitions, an essay titled "Toshiko Takaezu: Listening to Clay" by curator of Western Art at the Honolulu Academy of Arts, Jennifer Saville, and an essay by Associate Director for Exhibitions at the Contemporary Museum, James Jensen.
