Includes Foreword and Acknowledgements by George R. Ellis and Merrill C. Rueppel, the Directors of Honolulu Academy of Arts and The Contemporary Museum, respectively. Also includes a list of Lenders to the Exhibitions, an essay titled "Toshiko Takaezu: Listening to Clay" by curator of Western Art at the Honolulu Academy of Arts, Jennifer Saville, and an essay by Associate Director for Exhibitions at the Contemporary Museum, James Jensen.
