Overall a readable copy of a scarce book. Paul C. Bragg was a snake oil salesman of the lowest order, a health guru who made a small fortune on baseless medical and health claims by putting a Ph.D. in front of his name (he didn't complete high school) and making up stories about how he competed in the Olympics and nursed an imaginary sister back from a life-threatening illness. His books, consultations, and mail order fraud got him in trouble with the law and the AMA on several occasions. The Bragg flagship products, Braggs Aminos and Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, are still on the market today, though no longer owned by the Bragg family. This book is a sexist, dated, medically unsound instruction manual, Bragg does acknowledge and advocate for female sexual pleasure, and advocates for birth control. No doubt his policies are described here to sell his expertise and products, but the prose is nonetheless well written and he quotes other thinkers like Malthus. 267 pp.
