Covers have several tiny surface chips to extremities and a closed tear measuring about 1" at head of back outer joint, else clean and intact, binding tight. Pages pristine and intact. Published on the occasion of an traveling exhibition featuring the work of Vija Celmins (b. 1938), a Latvian-American artist. Celmins has worked in a variety of media but is perhaps best-known for her photorealistic depictions of natural subjects in drawings, sculptures, and paintings. Among her drawings are painstakingly detailed renditions of outer space, ocean waves, clouds, the desert floor, and the surface of the moon.
