Compilation of the charcoal still lifes produced from 1964 to 1974 by American Bay Area Figurative and Pop Art artist, Wayne Thiebaud, with an essay on the "Elements of Drawing" which provides some analysis on his technique. Published to accompany the traveling exhibition of the same name starting at the Lawrence Markey in San Antonio from April 9 to May 21, 2010. Similar to Thiebaud's usual colorful paintings of commonplace objects, this book showcases how that skill is transferable across mediums.
