Good orange pictorial dust jacket featuring an illustration of a plane and black lettering to front, and black lettering to spine, mild edge-wear, chipping at head, chipping at top edge to front, chipping at both top corners, now protected in a paper-backed Mylar sleeve. 232 pp. Replete with numerous black-and-white illustrations and diagrams. References and an Index. This book was compiled of basic information on numerous types of American-made woodworking planes. The hope of the author is that this book will help facilitate the correct identification of these planes and pave an easier path for their preservation.
