Featured Book: Palekh

Palekh is a traditional Russian folk art using papier-mâché lacquer, usually in miniature, to adorn furniture and other household items. 

Poetry and fairy tales appear in visual renderings with extraordinary detail on everyday items, a craft handed down since the 17th century.
